What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small files stored on a device. Web applications may also use browser storage for similar purposes, such as keeping a secure session active or remembering a setting.
What Teekr uses
- Authentication and security: information needed to sign users in, maintain a secure session and protect accounts.
- Venue and application state: information needed to open the selected venue and operate requested features.
- Device preferences: optional choices such as theme or “remember me on this device”.
- Payment services: Stripe may use its own cookies when you visit Stripe-hosted checkout or billing pages.
Strictly necessary technologies
Technologies required for security, authentication and a service you request may operate without consent. Teekr does not currently use advertising cookies or behavioural tracking on the public website. We will update this notice and provide appropriate controls before introducing non-essential cookie use.
Your choices
You can control or delete cookies and site storage through your browser. Blocking essential storage may prevent login, venue selection or other application features from working. Only select “remember me” on a private device.
Third-party information
Stripe and other linked services publish their own privacy and cookie information. Their controls apply when you leave Teekr and use their hosted pages. Questions can be sent to teekr@teekr.co.uk.
